Does life get any better than watching babies play on the beach?  A good friend of mine picked up a pair of the swim shorts I did for starblu beachwear and was kind enough to share the pics!

More Marimekko...

Marimekko keeps popping into my life!  This amazing vintage fabric showed up in a shop window that I pass daily.  After a few days of stalking it, I had to make it mine!!  It is 54" square of glorious inspiration!!!  Hope you enjoy it as I do!!

Inspiration - Florence Broadhurst

A trip to the museum bookstore reintroduced me to an Australian favorite - Florence Broadhurst.  Her versatile hand which was way ahead of its time is a source of endless inspiration.  Since we are all so very enchanted by the resurgence of wallpaper lately, it is only fitting to review her amazing body of work.  A great read is available on her extraordinary life and has shot to the top of my reading list!  Available here.

Surtex NYC...

I'll be showing at Surtex in NYC (May 17-19) this year with my wonderful rep Foliage Inc. (Booths 135 and 137)  Can't make the trip this year myself but, be sure to stop by and check it out!  Now that prep for the show is done, I'll have lots of new things to share here!  :)
