my art licensing story + small break...

The wonderful artist and art licensing coach Tara Reed has asked us to share our art licensing story.  Who knew shooting a little video would be so much fun?!  Thanks for the push Tara!  Want to see more stories? They are available on Tara's blog.

Leaving you with my story this week as I head to Austin!  I am ready for a week full of friends, a wedding, and a bit of inspiration shopping too.

I'm so glad I ran across this again. I was trying to watch on my iPhone before and the volume was too low.

Thanks for sharing your story! One of my friends works for Nordstrom too.

Seems like Nordstrom is a great place to develop your textile skills!

Good luck at your booth.

Aren't you having fun! It shows, and it's infectuous.
Thanks for brightening a drippy, blustery day in New York.
We'll certainly include you in the next issue of On the Surface for SURTEX 2010!

Khristian,

Fantastic video! I loved seeing you pull your art off the racks at Nordstrom.

It's funny that you mention the production cycle; when I worked in TV it was the same. Two years after I finished working on a production someone would tell me they saw my "new show." The gift that keeps on giving. :)

I hope to meet you at SURTEX. Thanks for sharing your story!

Hi,

Wow, so that's what you do! I'm always amazed to see another industry tucked away somewhere in this world that I wouldn't dream existed.

You seem very professional, yet bubbly.

I pray the best for you and your business.
